A Father’s Day Tribute: Honoring the One Who Lights the Way

The world can be so noisy and confusing, and it’s easy for a child to feel so small. But there’s a perfect plan in place to help me—created by the Father of us all, who gave me you.

You are someone who lights the way with every step I take. Someone who’s always on my side, cheering me on, showing me right from wrong, feeling my heartache when I cry. You take my hand and tell me that I can become who I’m striving to be.

I sing my praises to the One who gave me you—for you are that someone to me.

You remind me I am strong and full of promise. You’ve taught me that faith in God will always be my guiding star. I’ve watched you lean on Him for strength and comfort through every challenge, and I know who I am because of who you are.

You lead by example, showing me that building a strong relationship with family and with God is the foundation for a happy marriage life and a meaningful home. In moments when life felt overwhelming, you’ve been my counselor, my encourager, and my safe place.

For all you’ve done—for the countless ways you’ve shaped my faith and my future—I am forever grateful. You’ve taught me the value of love, trust, and commitment. These lessons are the heart of every Christian marriage counseling session and every marriage retreat that helps families like ours thrive.

You are proof that when we root our lives in faith, we find strength to overcome anything—whether it’s challenges in parenting, an unhappy marriage that needs healing, or a family that longs to reconnect.

Today, I celebrate you—and the Father who gave me you. Thank you for showing me how to live with purpose, love without condition, and trust God in every season.
