Making a difference

What would you do if at age 40 you discovered you had been sexually abused? Mary Boll and her husband Nevin decided they would help others and their families prevent others from being taken advantage.
We provided our 5 day training and scholarship support to their training and work so they could impact others. They have given over 40 presentations in just a very short period of time. They can be reached at 717-627-1611, or jnboll@dejazzd.com.

October 1 and 2, 2011 we have been chosen to participate in the Celebration of Champions fundraiser for our non profit McGrane Self Esteem Center.
This year we are in need of donations to continue to fund our youth, parent, school and prison programs. Our goal is to raise $100,000.00 or more.
We could use your help by participating, donating or helping us find others in the following ways:
1. Would you be willing to be a golfer and or help us find three other golfers for the October 1
golf event? This is held in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Your donation would be appreciated.
2. We need volunteers to sell Golf-Ball-Drop raffle tickets for five dollars each or 5 for $20. Winners can receive, $50,000, $2,500 or $500. Winners do not need to be present.
3. Be a walker or help us find others for the 2 k or 5k Walk-A-Thon October 1 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
4. Be a Putt-Putt-A-Thon player or raise donations for the Sunday October 2 event in Cincinnati, Ohio.
5. Would you help us make calls to get pledges and donations?
6. Would where you work or any other company be willing to make a corporate donation? If so call me so we can discuss this at 859-384-6333.

Have you seen the movie Invictus? If you have not I encourage you to go right away if you are a person looking for inspiration toward your own and loftier goals for your community and the world.
Some may say the story line is too simple, yet that simplicity is what makes it so powerful.
Do you have visions of dreams and goals not yet fulfilled? Do you seek a higher place in life then you are right now? Then I challenge you like the movies does to get past your past and reasons you can’t and just go out there this day and year and make the impossible - possible.
Choose the other rode less traveled without fear or disruption from your intent and experience an exhilaration that will remove the doubt and replace it with new vigor and vitality toward your ambitions.
This is a time when we need new leaders with fresh ideas to come beyond the ordinary and choose the extraordinary. If you are one of those people blog me letting me know your ideas for action.
