Jeff Bridges and Jonna Bluemlein in Crazy Heart Movie
Several weeks ago Linda and I went out to dinner with fellow graduates Jonna and Tom Bluemlein. Jonna always loves to hear and share success stories of how those who have attended our
seminars lives have been improved when they use the tools and ideas we shared with them.
Jonna mentioned that the power of intention can make your dreams com true. Jonna has
always had a crush on Jeff Bridges.
Tom Bluemleinis a fine artist. When Tom and Jonna were down in Santa Fe, New Mexico on a painting trip, they saw they needed extra’s for the award winning movie Crazy Heart.
Tom is also the one who created our
Tree of Self Esteem poster after he attended our seminar visually depicting the damaging effects of having a mask of self image versus a true self esteem. We will always be grateful to Tom for his creating this visual anchor.
Jonna as she was telling us her story mentioned that while the crew was on a break she had the courage to go up to Jeff and let him know she had a crush on him and had always wanted to meet him.
Jonna said, she introduced Jeff to Tom and told him I used to joke with our kids that when Jeff came for me I was going with him! She told him Tom and I had been together for 41 years and he said he had been with his wife for 38. Also this was probably the boldest thing I have everdone, not really my style to up to anyone let alone a ‘movie star’.
Jonna went further applying another skill she learned which was to ask for what she wanted. She asked Jeff if she could get her picture taken together and as you can see she now has an anchor to remember forever.
Another skill Jonna mentioned is when opportunities arise seize them and she sure did.

Are you or your children bullied? In person or by cyber bullying?
Unfortunately we all have experienced it. I can remember in grade school two guys came up to me and called me names and punched me. The truth is the physical and emotional pain of rejection really hurt. At that time in my life I did not have the skills to just let that experience just rool off my back like water falling off of a ducks back. My way of dealing with it was to look tough, shut off my feelings and try to look like it didn’t effect me when it really did.
What has been your experience? Share a story from your own situations?

Kristine with kitty around age 5
Are they both cute or what? Would you ever consider being cruel or harsh to these two pretties? Kristine, a recent graduate of our seminar, Move Into Your Greatness shared this picture with me because I had asked her who treated you with TUL, Total Unconditional Love? She said my kitty in this picture.
Unfortunately more people have received safe, unconditional love from a pet than they have people. Is this true of you?
What are some of your favorite TUL moments you have had with a pet? What about a TUL time with a person? Would love to hear your stories.
Getting and giving the kind of love you need and want is really very simple. When it is genuine and real it fills the soul with all the ingredients to brighten a person’s day.
