By now you have probably had many opportunities to not follow
through on your new years resolutions.  Instead of being frustrated and spiraling down energize yourself with the following ideas.

1. Make your list. 

It’s easy to get overwhelmed.  Take out a piece of paper or type up the list of things you need to do.  It feels great just to make the list and get’s it out of your mind.

2. Determine what is vital vs an intention

Do you ever look at your list of things to do and get overwhelmed?  To get past this sort your list into the two or three big things you need to get done in one day.

Everything else is an intention, those things you would like to do, intend to do just not the most important at this time.

3. Appreciate yourself and reward your efforts

Everything goes better when you know you have something to look forward too.

By focusing on your top 3 things of the day, week and month do something fun or enjoyable to you so enjoy each time you check them off your list.

 Research shows that if you do not act upon an idea within 24 hours there is a 90% chance you will not act upon that idea.  Find an accountability partner to assure your success.

There is always more to do than the time you have.  For those of you who need a push or shove here it is.  For those of you who need that chill pill or to lighten up take this as your prescription to lighten up.

The results are in

Last week was so powerful and exciting.  We were able to complete the Move Into Your Greatness seminar.  This is our most impacting seminar because it gets to the root of the issues that hold people back.

One person who attended said, “If you think you’re cool you can be cooler! If you think you are the best you can be better”

What do you want to be cooler and better at?  Let me give you a tip from the seminar that you can use.  When you feel overwhelmed or spiraling down because of so much on your plate take a chill pill.  Put things in perspective.

With all that you are seeing going on in Haiti can you appreciate and be grateful for all the little things you have?  Our most challening day does not come anywhere close to what that country is going through. 

Take whatever is on your “A” list and chunk it down to that next baby step that will move you into your own greatness.  Do you want people to be at their best?  Well we need you to be at your best so that you can encourage others to be at their best so the ripple continues.

With all you have on your plate there has to be something on their today that floats your boat and makes you excited to move into your day.

For me today it will be a conversation I will be having with the family of one of the students who attended last week sharing all the progress made.

Go ahead make your day a great day!

Is it really possible?

Day 2 of the Making It Happen seminar went so well.  It started off with one of the participants telling us he has a hard time sleeping and even though he did not sleep very well for the first time in a long time he felt more rested and calmer then before.  He sensed things in his body he was blind to before.  He kept saying you know I came into this seminar not expecting anything to work and to his astonishment he can see he an start to make things happen in his life and in finding work.

He said I have spent all of my life because of the demands by my parents being in fear and never feeling accepted by them.  This has caused him to feel like a scared bunny.  So he hid his feelings and did not share with anyone who he really was because he did not learn how to communicate so at this point feels what the use in trying.

He went further to say I have stuck my head in the sand so he could shut of the pain of rejection and feeling worthless, to the point he would not look at people.

What’s your issue?  What is keeping you from making things happen?  Try this today.  What is the most important thing you need to do, that you have been putting off?  What is the next step you need to take to move that along?

What is the next easiest step you can take toward it’s fulfillment?  Go ahead and make it happen!

Today starts the first day of the Move Into Your Greatness Seminar.  It will be interesting to watch how people getting excited about being able to more specifically apply what they learned in the first 2 days.
